Hazlemere Church is a vibrant, growing, local anglican church and hospitality is at the centre of what we do.<\/p>\n

Since opening the Trinity Centre in September 2021 we have been a hub for the community, welcoming charitable and community groups, hosting events and activities which foster community and providing safe and welcoming spaces for all ages to connect with one another and to explore faith together.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As part of the wider staff team, The Hospitality and Events Manager will be responsible for coordinating our external bookings and one-off events, including weddings, as well as resourcing and coordinating internal events and activities. The Hospitality and events Manager will have responsibility for overseeing\u00a0 <\/span>our hospitality spaces (excluding the Atrium Caf\u00e9, which is managed by our excellent caf\u00e9 team).<\/p>\n

We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality and serving the community, with great organisational and communication skills and who has a heart to serve as part of the church team here at Hazlemere Church.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Could you be our new Family Minister?<\/b><\/p>\n

Hazlemere Church is a vibrant, growing, local anglican church. Over one quarter of our church membership is under the age of 18 and we are entering into an exciting new season. Over the last 2 years we have made it our top priority to reconnect and engage with children and families within our parish. We have seen significant growth and lives transformed. There is enormous potential to expand our outreach and see many more children and families given the opportunity to encounter Jesus. Therefore we are now looking to grow our sta\ufb00 team and appoint a further Family Minister to resource this vital area of ministry.<\/p>\n

We see the role of our Family Ministers as strategically important to develop our mission opportunities which fit with our wider vision to prioritise mission and ministry with emerging generations. They will be highly significant in supporting the transition from our public facing mission through schools and family\/toddler groups into our faith community as well as facilitating the transition from children\u2019s outreach into our youth ministry.<\/p>\n

We have continued to see growth in our family ministry this year with families engaging through Sunday ministry, Lighthouse Sundays and seasonal events. The focus going forward is to build relationally with families within our parish; to foster in them a sense of purpose and hope and provide a place of safety and belonging through which we can present the love of God. This will include the development and growth of our community and schools based outreaches well as resourcing existing children\u2019s ministry.
