The New Wine Discipleship Year is an exciting year of discovery and adventure for 18-24 year olds. It seeks to set up young people with strong foundations for life as a follower of Jesus; equipped, encouraged and empowered to build His Kingdom.


This is an exciting season for us here at Hazlemere Church as we launch our brand new community hub, Trinity Centre, and relaunch our energetic, missional, youth ministry and schools work. Our thriving and growing staff team are looking forward to welcoming New Wine trainees to help shape the mission and ministry of our church.

We are offering two full-time placements within our youth ministry and will provide free accommodation (within a family home), £500 towards the total course fees of £1500 and some financial support, including a monthly gift towards living expenses.

OPPORTUNITY 1 – will include engagement across the whole age ranges from Yrs 5 – 13, with a primary focus on years 7-9, and will include planning for and attendance at regular high energy evening youth events with the aim of relationship building and opportunity for young people to explore faith. It will also include involvement in schools ministry delivering primary school assemblies and secondary school Christian union sessions, plus input into our Sunday morning youth discipleship groups.

OPPORTUNITY 2 – will include engagement across the whole age ranges from Yrs 7 – 13 with a primary focus on years 10-13. The role will involve planning for and attending a weekly gathering for our older young people with a focus on discipleship. The role will also include attendance at a weekly high energy evening youth event with a focus on relationship building, plus involvement in schools ministry delivering secondary school Christian Union sessions, and input into our Sunday morning youth discipleship groups.


Cafe Team

We are now recruiting for our wonderful Café Volunteer Team! You will be the face of welcome within The Atrium Café, serving food and drinks to customers and providing warm hospitality to everyone who comes through our doors.

We are looking for people with a heart to serve God and the wider community through the ministry of The Atrium Café.

Our volunteer café team members will be enthusiastic, committed and friendly team-players.

The hours which need covering by the café team are Tuesday-Friday, 8am-2:30pm. Volunteer hours are flexible and will be discussed on a case by case basis.
