COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER - MATERNITY COVER

Hazlemere Church is looking recruit a temporary Communications Manager for 16 hours a week to provide maternity cover from 30th January 2025 to 29th January 2026.

CLOSING DATE: Friday 17th January

The role of the Communications Manager is to unify and create internal and external communication that compels both members and others to become interested in participating in the life of Hazlemere Church, in order to experience transformation personally, in the wider community and beyond.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • In collaboration with senior leadership manage the church’s brand / identity
  • Proactively plan and work with ministries to support their communications needs
  • Ensure high-quality and high impact communications are created for both internal and external audiences
  • Ensure social media and the website is fresh and engaging
  • Plan a communications/publicity strategy on a termly basis.
  • Liaise with the church leadership team to be informed of leadership priorities and decisions, with permission to speak into communications/publicity issues.

The ideal candidate would:

  • Be fully supportive of the the mission of Holy Trinity ‘Being the People God, Fulfilling the Purposes of God’
  • Have excellent written communication skills
  • Have experience of creating and producing high quality digital and print media
  • Be highly organised, with a pro-active approach to planning and anticipating your own and other’s workflows
  • Possess a high level of technical skills (ideally experience of social media, websites, drop box, canva, etc with an aptitude to learn new technical skills)
  • Be able to work independently

16 Hours a week

Pay in the region of £11,000 per year plus pension

It is an occupational requirement that the Communication Manager is a committee Christian, in full support of the mission and ministry of Hazlemere Church.

VOLUNTEER POSITIONS

CAFE TEAM

We are now recruiting for our wonderful Café Volunteer Team! You will be the face of welcome within The Atrium Café, serving food and drinks to customers and providing warm hospitality to everyone who comes through our doors.

We are looking for people with a heart to serve God and the wider community through the ministry of The Atrium Café.

Our volunteer café team members will be enthusiastic, committed and friendly team-players.

The hours which need covering by the café team are Tuesday-Friday, 8am-2:30pm. Volunteer hours are flexible and will be discussed on a case by case basis.
