Throughout the year, we do so much more than a Wednesday evening youth event, or Sunday morning gathering. As a youth group, our intention is to grow and develop relationally as much as possible, as well as have tons of fun at some of our socials.

Details of future events will be posted via our webpage, social media platforms and emails. If you don’t already receive our emails, please do get in touch and we’d be happy to add you to our database!

SOUL SURVIVOR

What is Soul Survivor?
Every summer thousands of young Christians gather together to worship God, learn what it means to live for Jesus in every area of our lives, to pray for one another, and to have loads of fun!
Each event lasts for five days and has two main meetings a day, plus seminars and lots of great venues so you can hang out with your mates over a hot chocolate mountain, work up a sweat in the sports venue, watch a movie, or enjoy some live music.
Who can go?
Whether you’ve been a Christian forever, or have no idea who Jesus is, this event is for you!
Loads of people have a great time at Soul Survivor; becoming a friend of Jesus is simply a bonus!!
How can I find out more?
We’d be more than happy to chat with you about Soul Survivor. Phone into the office or email us – youth@hazlemere.org

GILWELL PARK YOUTH WEEKEND AWAY

What is Gilwell Park?
Each year we take a group of young people away to Gilwell Park Scout Centre. The weekend is packed full of activities, time to relax, and learn about God.
Who can go?
In short, anyone! Whether you’re a Christian, not a Christian, or simply exploring, the weekend is a great opportunity to hang out with friends and meet with God.
When is the next weekend away?
Our weekend away has now been and gone! If you’d be interested to know more about what we get up to on our weekends away, we’d be more than happy to speak to you.

ROOTS SOCIALS

Each term we aim to do at least one social, whether that’s sharing a meal together at Nando’s, competing with friends at a game of bowling or heading over to Soul Survivor Watford for a Saturday Celebration and McDonald’s. We also do internal social events on a Wednesday evening – sports, movies, games etc.
Sometimes there is a small cost to each of these events – more information will be sent to parents and young people closer to the time.
