CARE in ACTION
One of our mission villages focussed on Social Action is CiA - Care in Action.
The Vision for this network of people is.....
...let the oppressed go free, and remove the chains that bind people. Share your food with the hungry, and give shelter to the homeless. Give clothes to those who need them and do not hide from those who need your help.
There are many different activities already part of CiA and these include:
working with the homeless in Wycombe;
involvement in the prisons in the area;
the development of debt crisis counselling;
working to support women and children in India and Africa;
working with people with learning disabilities;
practical help on the streets with young people at night.
